How this site is made

Last updated: 4 July 2026

Hej Danmark is written by AI and built to respect the journalism it links to. This page explains exactly how — and how to reach a human.

The stories are AI-generated

Every story on this site — and in our newsletter — is selected and summarised by an AI system, automatically, without a human editor reviewing it before publication. We say so up front (in the tagline, in the newsletter masthead, and in every footer) because you have a right to know, and because the EU AI Act requires it.

AI makes mistakes. If a summary and the original article ever disagree, the original article is right — that is why every story links to it. If you spot an error, please tell us and we will correct or remove the story promptly.

How we treat publishers’ journalism

Our job is to send readers to the journalism, not to replace it. Concretely:

Our sources

We currently follow the official RSS feeds of DR, The Local Denmark and The Copenhagen Post. We are grateful for their journalism — please support them by reading the originals and subscribing where you can.

For publishers

If you publish one of the feeds we follow and would rather we did not — or have any other concern about how your content appears here — email hi@aspenstudio.dk. We will comply promptly with any request from a rightsholder; no formalities needed.
